Dr. Suzanne Robidoux: Jing Fang and scalp acupuncture for neurologiical conditions (first part)
In the first part of this four-day seminar, the treatment of neurological complaints will be discussed in the morning, and the classical Chinese herbal medicine style of Jing Fang and scalp acupuncture will be discussed in the afternoon.
Dr. Wang Qing Guo from Beijing University has said that there are more than 40 different lineages which follow the classic texts Shang han lun and Jin gui yao lüe by Zhang Zhongjin. One of these lineages is continued today by Feng Shi Lun (冯世伦). He received this knowledge from Professor Hu Xi Shu (希 恕 恕), who had been trained by Master Wang Xiang Wei (微 微). Generation after generation was able to preserve the treasures Shang han lun and Jin gui yao lüe, while their understanding of the works continued to evolve. Dr. Suzanne Robidoux worked side by side with Dr. Feng Shi Lun. In the seminar, Dr. Robidoux explains the system of «six syndrome» diagnosis in detail and explains the relevant formulas for neurological complaints.
The seminar provides two skull acupuncture systems for the treatment of over 20 neurological and psychosomatic complaints. Participants will learn the necessary treatment protocols and needling techniques for the treatment of paralysis, paraplegia, hemiplegia, aphasia, amnesia and some degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, and Menière's disease. The psychosomatic complaints include an ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder), and depression. The participants will learn the correct location of 24 scalp acupuncture lines as well as ten different needle techniques, which must be performed precisely. The use of electrostimulation in scalp acupuncture is also explained; it differs significantly from application to the body.
